The Great Sand Dunes Jaisalmer: There is beautiful Sand Dunes at nearly 40 Km from Jaisalmer city and known as 'Sam'. If you are visiting Jaisalmer, this place is must to visit and if possible spend at least one night at The Great Sand dunes.
Make sure that you in sand dunes during the sun set and sun rise. Camel and camel cart rides are also available for visitors.

Planning for The Great Sand Dunes Jaisalmer : You can start at around 2.00 PM from Jaisalmer city and visit Amar Sagar and Kuldhara Village in the way. Plan to reach Sand Dunes 20-30 minutes before sun set. You require 1 hours to reach dunes and 2-3 hours if you have plan to visit Amar Sagar, Jain temple and Kuldhara village in the way.
